The Best of Yorkshire Under One Roof
Here at Peppers, we have worked hard to find the very best products from across the county.
Much of our shop is filled with products from small businesses, both in the local area and across Yorkshire. Always aiming for sustainability, we support innovative creators of alternative products and we use ecological, biodegradable packaging when selling our products. Discover the diverse and unique range below!
A Touch of Glass
Hailing from Guisborough in North Yorkshire, A Touch of Glass is a small business led by founder, Sue. Specialising in decorative pieces, every piece made by Sue is individually hand-crafted and unique. From small window hangers to large detailed landscapes, these pieces are perfect for any windowsill.
Cosy Cottage Soap
Founded in 2015, Cosy Cottage Soap prides itself on being free from plastic, palm oil, SLS and parabens, all whilst not testing on animals. This lovely local business, run by Clara from Malton in West Yorkshire, has expanded rapidly over the years and is now stocked by us at Peppers.
Chimps Forge is a family-run business led by blacksmith Andrew. From his workshop in Cleckheaton in West Yorkshire, Andrew crafts a wide array of products, from decorative bowls to practical door hooks. Having started his business last year, Andrew boasts a growing portfolio of commission pieces as well as his work done for Peppers.
Heather Whitnall Art
A local Doncaster artist, Heather creates stunning one-off pieces. Her subjects are wide in range and style and are always original pieces - no prints here! Previous works include animal portraits, stylistic drawings of houses and detailed pictures of plants and other flora.
Nic's Pebble Pic's
From hand-printed candles to creative pictures made from pebbles, Nicola is one of our most local stockists, living in the village of Branton, Doncaster. Having handmade items for friends and family in the past, Nicola decided to pursue her hobby full-time and is now exclusively stocked at Peppers.
From banking to blankets! Founders Victoria and Frances set out on their wool-filled venture in 2013, hand-making soft furnishings out of wool scraps from local mills in and around their hometown of Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Their attitude to recycling makes them very popular in a society that is increasingly aware of human waste.
With over 20 years of experience in resin casting, OakApple Designs specialises in taking casts of medieval carvings from Cathedrals and Abbeys around the UK. Based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, founder Philip and his team also create original pieces and have an outstanding collection of decorative carvings, a selection of which we stock at Peppers.
Louise Jennings Art
Having a passion for art and nature, Louise looks to make original artworks that stir the soul and inspire the imagination. Every single piece of Louise's art is one of a kind and is never a re-print. A local artist, Louise paints animals and people, as well as beautiful landscapes.
